Educational Facilities in Developing Countries
As of 2005,more than 100million children in developing countries do not have access to proper educational facilities.
There are several reasons for this. One reason is the inadequate budgetary provision for education in these countries.
According toUNESCO , developing countries spend 3.4%- 5.7%of their gross national income on education. Countries
in Central and Eastern Europe on the other hand earmark up to 8%. This resulted in the lack of proper facilities like
adequate classrooms, teachingmaterial and textbooks. In addition to this,most of the rural regions in developing countries
do not have a proper school network...
